Built for Light

NEW YORK, NEW YORK

UNDER CONSTRUCTION

RESIDENTIAL

Set in New York, this private residence is currently under construction and celebrates a refined blend of comfort and quiet luxury. The architectural language speaks in soft, neutral tones. white limewashed brick, beige-toned natural stone, and warm white oak accents. These carefully curated materials come together to create a unified, elegant exterior that is both timeless and contemporary. The framework of the home is timber, giving warmth and integrity to the build. Every detail has been considered to offer a space that feels serene and tailored for modern living, while staying grounded in natural textures and a harmonious colour palette.

On the right side of the house, the same blend of limewashed brick, micro-cement, and stone continues, offering a harmonious yet textured façade. The tall, vertically aligned windows are framed in dark grey stainless steel, providing a sleek contrast to the softer tones of the walls. The entrance is marked by a recessed portal clad in limewashed stone, with the main front door crafted in warm white oak to match the garage. A secondary gravel path on this side of the house mirrors the left, guiding visitors quietly toward the rear garden while keeping the landscaping light and natural.

The left side of the home showcases the double garage, defined by its clean white oak doors which introduce warmth to an otherwise neutral façade. The elevation itself is composed of a mix of limewashed brick, subtle micro-cement plaster, and select stonework all in a cohesive palette of beige, limewashed off-white, and soft greys. Above the garage, a charming bay window projects gently, adding rhythm to the structure. A gravel path runs along the edge, leading discreetly to the rear of the property.

At the rear, the design opens up into a space for both hosting and everyday ease. A series of arched windows introduces a classical softness to the otherwise clean-lined structure, with the largest arch offering a dramatic focal point that frames the indoor dining area. A covered terrace hosts a lounge zone adjacent to the pool, and a more intimate patio with a built-in fireplace is set just off to the side ideal for cooler evenings. The materials remain consistent throughout, creating a seamless flow from front to back.

From above, the outdoor design reveals its thoughtful layering. A large swimming pool defines the heart of the garden, bordered by a generous paved lounge deck, complete with sunbeds and umbrellas. A raised dining terrace connects directly to the interior kitchen, reinforcing the flow between indoor and outdoor life. The gravel paths subtly transition to grass softening the terrain for children and pets, a small detail rooted in comfort. As with all our projects, the intention is not just to create beauty, but to shape a lifestyle that’s deeply lived-in and considered from every angle.
